London Zoo Gorilla House

Work completed on the London Zoo Gorilla House in 2007 with Dan Pal (UK) supplying the polycarbonate for the canopy and vertical wall areas of the house.

Using Danpalon 16mm panels in green the effect created matched the tone and the look of the zoo which boasts over 750 species of animal.

Over 600m2 of Danpalon multi-cell panels was used on the walkways which cover the visitors’ area and enclosure.  Working with Proctor and Matthews Architects, Dan Pal (UK) was able to provide a stylish solution to the enclosure.

The panels, installed by Tego Roofing Ltd, were 1040mm wide and connected with green polycarbonate connectors to give a seamless finish.

Dan Pal (UK) can always match the needs of any given project with the versatile systems and can repeatedly adapt to the task at hand to deliver a finished article that is faultless.
