The Danpalon panels are available in 8mm, 10mm and 16mm thicknesses and have a standing seam to dry joint the panels, using either polycarbonate or aluminium connectors. Used in the ‘normal’ position with the connectors externally, or ‘reversed’ with the connections internally, the aesthetic qualities can be tailored to optimise any given application.
The multicell structure of the panels helps to achieve excellent impact resistance (1200J); thermal efficiency (a 16mm panel has a u value of 1.53), whilst diffusing the natural light entering the building, resulting in an optimal quality and comfortable space.
Panels are produced in a range of standard colours and bespoke colours can be manufactured to echo the environment and incorporate the building in to its natural surroundings. ‘Softlite’ finishes can also be applied to the panels resulting in a matt surface and almost entirely eliminating glare.
